Sanctuary of calm

HUM is a boutique Yoga Studio with small and inclusive classes to nourish your soul

HUM is a space for you to truly unwind. Our intimate classes invite you to connect with yourself, move with intention, and discover the transformative power of Yoga.

Here, ‘advanced’ doesn’t mean mastering handstands. It means learning to stay present, steady the mind, and cultivate inner balance. Whether you're brand new or a lifelong Yogi, our practices meet you where you are.

The HUM Story

The HUM Story

HUM Studio was created at the beginning of 2022 by mother and daughter business partners, Andrea and Olivia.

Both movement teachers, they saw the Northern Beaches was missing a diverse art and movement space where the community could gather to share their unique gifts. So they created HUM Studio in the centre of Dee Why.

In many ways our world has been challenging us, asking us to test and strengthen our connections. With our minds, bodies, Earth and each other. Human connection sustains us, and doing so takes finding a community that feels like home. Yet with the rush of modern life, and the restrictions of our world, this home can be elusive.

Feeling this need for a strengthened community led founders Andrea and Olivia to open HUM, with the vision to create a safe and inclusive space where the whole community is welcome, embracing diversity in all its forms. Diversity in community, and also diversity in offerings, to create events, workshops or classes that are good for the soul.
