Attune

A weekend immersion into the Elements through Zenthai Shiatsu, Yoga and Conscious Connection.

April 19-21, 2024

Attune invites you to take a weekend trip into nature, where we will journey together through the 5 Elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — the fundamental components of the Universe.

A pause to connect with others also called to create spaciousness, and learn the magic art of Zenthai Shiatsu.

Together we will explore what each Element means from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, their associated organs and meridians, then dance with each through Yoga, Bodywork and Ceremony.

What is Zenthai Shiatsu?

Zenthai Shiatsu is a form of bodywork with focused intention — Unconditionally giving through a combination of Thai Massage, Shiatsu and Osteopathic techniques to create a holistic treatment for the body and energy systems.

What to expect in a Cacao Ceremony

Ceremonial Cacao is a gentle plant medicine, a wise teacher and an intelligence that can’t be perceived with the mind, but with your heart, intuition and vibration. The Cacao spirit can be felt as a warm motherly energy, allowing us to drop into our juicy heart space. We will create this Ceremony to set intentions for the weekend, and to take into our daily lives.

Your Facilitators

Kai and Liv are movement facilitators trained in a range of modalities, with a shared love for Yoga and Zenthai. Together they facilitate workshops and retreats between Sydney and Newcastle.

Liv

Liv is a lover of the movement arts. Having been introduced to her first Yoga class as a child, she has continued to use movement as a form of self expression throughout her life. Liv now teaches Vinyasa, Yin and Zenthai Flow, as well as Salsa and Bachata dance. Liv continues to explore different modalities to bring these into her teaching.

Kai

Kai is passionate about creating a present life and his favourite tool to do so is dropping into his body. Yoga, breathwork, exercise and bodywork are some of his his favourite ways to tune this tool. Kai is sharing his passion through teaching Vinyasa flows, Yin Yoga, Zenthai flows, creating Cacao Ceremonies and facilitating 1:1 breathwork.

The Eco Lodge

We will be staying at the magical Watagan Eco Retreat, a mountain escape, located 90 minutes north of Sydney. We will have 40 acres of private wilderness all to ourselves for the weekend.

Each evening we will gather around the campfire, and each afternoon there will be time to explore the surrounds, read in a hammock, or warm in the hot tub.

We will be living communally for this retreat, so all accomodation is single beds in shared rooms, or camping on site. For those camping, you will need to bring your own tent equipment or van.

All workshops and classes will take place in the beautiful shala, fitted with a fireplace for extra comfort. Please bring a yoga mat and blanket for class if you have them.

The Food

All food is prepared onsite by our incredible chef from local, mostly organic ingredients and fresh produce. There are meat free and gluten free options for all meals.
